Ever since its creation back in the 1800s, English toffee has held a very special place in the hearts of us English, so much so that it even has its own National English Toffee Day, which, as we all know, is January 8th. Despite a recipe that’s little more than loads of butter and sugar, the crafting of a superior toffee ‘chew’ is down to the exact proportions used and knowing how to cool and pull it.
Ingredients: Sugar, Glucose Syrup, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Coconut Oil, Butter (Milk) (6%), Salt, Emulsifier: Sunflower Lecithin.
