Asparagus plumosus is native to Southern Africa and is also known as the Asparagus Fern. Asparagus plumosus prefers bright indirect light and likes it’s soil to remain moist. The Asparagus Fern requires temperatures above 13 degrees Celsius and can cope with normal household humidity.
You should apply a weak feed every month or so in the growing season for best growing results. Asparagus plumosus can reach a height of approximately 1-1.5m and a spread of 0.5-1m if in a suitable pot. It is a fast growing plant if given the correct conditions. This plant can cause skin irritation so be cautious when handling.
Considered an easy plant to care for it is suitable for beginners.
