A tall border plant with masses of vibrant blooms generally edged with yellow top tall border plants. This variety will flower the same year from an early sowing giving a spectacular, late summer display. Great for cutting.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Sow indoors, January-April, 0.5cm (¼”) deep, in trays of seed compost. Keep moist and warm at approx. 20°C (68°F). Thin (prick out) seedlings when large enough to handle. Stand outside for a few days in late May (avoid frosts), before planting out, spacing 45cm (18”) apart. Or, sow outdoors, May-July, in a seedbed. Keep moist. Thin (prick out) seedlings, 30cm (12”) apart, as they develop and transplant to flowering position, September-October. Flowers: June to October. Remove dead heads to prolong the flowering season.
